This month homeowners in your area will pay at least a $1183.00 mortgage payment.  Of that payment, only about $167.17 of that sum will go towards their equity and $1017.31 will pay interest and escrow.
These homeowners will have to cut their own grass, pay property taxes and homeowner's association dues.  When issues arise, the mortgage company won't fix the faucet, provide pest control, or repair a leak in the roof. This weekend while you enjoy your free time, your home owning neighbor will spend their extra time and money at a home improvement store.
